This ancient geological formation has been carved over centuries and has a pattern of flat plateau tops cut up with deep stream valleys.  This is the home to Pennsylvania&apos;s Grand Canyon, the Allegheny National Forest, and numerous state forests and parks.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
